On March 4th, in the NBA regular season, the Spurs defeated the Pacers 117-105 at home. After the game, Spurs player Victor Wembanyama was interviewed by reporters.
"Every team needs someone they can rely on, sometimes it's the coach, sometimes it's the players. But for me, there's no reason for me to lose my cool during the game. I won't transmit negative emotions to my teammates, even if I miss shots. I won't shake my head or convey any negative messages to my teammates. I'll keep doing what I do." Wembanyama said.
In the entire game, Wembanyama started and played 31 minutes, making 11 out of 17 field goals, 3 out of 4 three-point attempts, and 6 out of 7 free throws, scoring 31 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, providing 6 assists, making 1 steal, and blocking 6 shots. |
