The two main shaking methods in Sic Bo are closely related to the dealer. Generally, after all players have placed their bets, the big screen in front of the dealer will show which combinations of points are more profitable for the casino. At this point, the dealer will control the shaking style.
The first method is a flat shake, usually used to counter big bets. When one or two small numbers appear, the dealer will shake the dice gently, causing them to roll parallel to the surface several times. However, the majority of results are still small.
The second method is a vertical shake, which is typically seen when the point total is high. To shuffle the dice thoroughly, the dealer will vigorously shake the dice into the air. However, this method often results in high numbers.
Of course, the shaking method also depends on the dealer. Some dealers are casual, and when they first start, it's generally better to bet big because they will shake the dice vigorously, often resulting in high numbers, especially after a total of 14 points.
Some dealers are disciplined and will only consider the screen before shaking to produce the corresponding points that are advantageous to the casino. This is usually seen in new dealers.
Then there are the experienced dealers who are very skilled. They may play a few rounds with you, wait for you to feel comfortable, and then start using their techniques. |
