On March 4th, in the NBA regular season, the Warriors suffered a crushing 88-140 defeat against the Celtics on the road. After the game, Warriors guard Stephen Curry gave an interview to reporters.
When asked about the differences between the current Celtics team and the one they faced in the 2022 NBA Finals, Curry said, "Since then, we've played against them four times, so those previous statements are outdated. They are now the best team in the league, and they have been playing exceptionally well... Today they came out and blew us away, which was a bit tough from our perspective."
"This kind of dominant victory over opponents used to be something we did to other teams," Curry added with resignation.
In the entire game, Curry started and played 17 minutes, making only 2 out of 13 field goal attempts, including missing all 9 three-point attempts, and scoring 4 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. |
