February 13th News: Today, Lakers forward Anthony Davis was interviewed after practice.
Looking ahead to the team's prospects after the All-Star break, Davis said, "First of all, it gives players an opportunity to heal, rest, and recover their health. Cam (Reddish) and Max (Christie) are both overcoming ankle injuries, just various lingering niggles, and players have been playing through those. If we're healthy, we'll be fine. We have two games before the break, of course, the Pistons have been playing well lately, despite their record, they haven't been far behind in many games. They've also had two straight wins recently. They've been playing well. And then there's the Jazz, who have been solid all season, especially at home. We just have to take it one game at a time, handle these last two, and then use the break to recover and come back ready to finish out the schedule strong." |
