Jadeja and Rahul recover from injuries, set to play 3rd Test against England

The BCCI and the men’s selection committee announced that Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, the all-rounder and the wicket-keeper batsman, are fit and ready to play for India in the 3rd Test against England in Rajkot from February 15th onwards. This is the 3rd of a 5-match Test series. The selection committee had a virtual meeting on Friday to pick the Indian team for the next three Tests, which will be played in Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamshala on 15-19 February, 23-27 February, and 7-11 March respectively.

Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul missed the 2nd Test in Vishakhapatnam due to injuries. Ravindra Jadeja will feel at home in the 3rd Test at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. He was born in Navagamkhed city, which is in the Jamnagar district, so the locals might cheer for him with Jadeja-Jadeja chants.
