Keanu Reeves, also known as Keanu Reeves, mentioned his views on Bitcoin this week, stating that disregard or volatility may not necessarily be a bad thing.
Responding to questions about Bitcoin, Keanu Reeves said, "I think the principles and ideas behind these 'independent currencies' are amazing. These are magical tools used for trading and distributing resources. So, external disdain for cryptocurrencies or their volatility will only make them better, of course, provided they are handled and protected properly."
The Hollywood star had previously disclosed that he owns cryptocurrencies. Keanu Reeves mentioned in December 2021 that a friend bought him some, but he has not used these coins for anything.
Keanu Reeves also explained in the interview how he became an advisor to the Futureverse Foundation. The Futureverse Foundation is a charity organization launched in June last year by the New Zealand-based non-fungible token (NFT) and blockchain technology company Non-Fungible Labs. The foundation aims to "help maintain broad access, health, and development of the metaverse." He explained, "This is actually something my partner is interested in, so I was influenced by her a bit. I helped kickstart this project, and we are trying to harness the interest in this technology and provide opportunities for artists with different perspectives." |
