Mayank Agarwal, the Indian batsman, and Karnataka Ranji captain has been declared fit to play cricket after spending two days in the hospital, according to Cricinfo. Agarwal had a throat infection and felt unwell while traveling back to Delhi from Agartala. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and observation. Agarwal returned to Bengaluru and got a fitness certificate from the doctors. He was then included in the Karnataka squad for the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 and will feature in the next match against Tamil Nadu in Chennai. He has been advised to rest for two days before resuming cricket. Agarwal also posted a message on his social media accounts after he recovered from his illness. He thanked his fans and supporters for their prayers and said that he was eager to get back on the field.
