Ojha, the ex-India spinner, gave his views on Gill’s wicket in the second Test against England. He said that Gill was impatient and worried about his place in the team. He also said that the fear of losing his spot and the return of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul might have influenced his shot choice.
“He would be very disappointed because he had a decent start but could not score big. The shot he played, you rarely see that in Test cricket. His footwork was fine, he was reading the game well and was taking singles too.” He might have felt the pressure while playing the game because you know when Virat (Kohli) and KL (Rahul) are back, the attention will go to them," Ojha said.
I thought Ojha is absolutely right when some key players will be back then it will be difficult task for Gill to save this spot in Indian test  team Jaiswal should need to work on his technique and temperament
