On January 18th, Jag Kooner, the derivatives head at Bitfinex, stated that just a week after trading commenced, the assets under management (AUM) of the United States Bitcoin ETF have surpassed that of the Silver ETF, making it the second-largest ETF category in the United States. The spot Bitcoin ETF funds (including the conversion of Grayscale's GBTC trust) currently hold approximately 647,651 bitcoins, with total assets under management reaching $27.5 billion. Among them, the Fidelity Bitcoin Spot ETF has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, and the BlackRock Bitcoin Spot ETF has also exceeded $1 billion in assets under management. As of January 18th, the cumulative trading volume of the 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs exceeded $11.1 billion on the fourth trading day. Grayscale, BlackRock, and Fidelity continue to dominate, accounting for over 90% of the total trading volume.
