Starknet core member and Ethereum core contributor abdel.stark.eth (@dimahledba) has issued an apology on his personal social media platform regarding the previous "insult" directed at community users. He acknowledges that using the term "e-beggar" (electronic beggar) was a mistake and that he initially thought it was amusing in the context he was using. He admits that his emotions got the better of him, and he did not consider the consequences of his choice of words, especially with Uri stepping down as the CEO of StarkWare, causing him to lose control and react emotionally. "I want to clarify that I never targeted the entire community; it was always used in the context of specific individuals who I felt were abusing and disrespecting people I deeply care about. I know this is not an excuse, but I want to be honest about it. To those who feel targeted by my words, I want to say that I am sorry." abdel.stark.eth expresses that Starknet needs both builders and users and commits to being more careful in choosing appropriate language in the future. |
