Another big blow for India , star cricketer gets into for blocking Pope's run in first test against England Bumrah did something wrong on the cricket field which is not acceptable as per rule book , it broke a rule called "Article 2.12" which basically says players can't fight or shove the person in charge (match referee). To punish him, Bumrah got: A scolding (officially called a "reprimand"). A bad mark on his cricket report card (a "demerit point"). This is the first time Bumrah indulged in such kind of act in last 2 years, so it's not like he's a troublemaker. The naughty thing happened when Bumrah and another player named Ollie Pope got a bit grumpy at each other during England's batting turn.
