If we talk about the world's richest footballer, familiar names like Ronaldo, Messi, and Mbappe come to mind. Surprisingly, none of these players holds the title of the wealthiest footballer. Instead, it is a 25-year-old former Chelsea player, Faiq Bolkiah. In recent data, Ronaldo was recognized as the highest-earning footballer in 2023, with others like Messi and Mbappe also amassing substantial wealth. Messi, at 37, boasts a net worth of around £470 million, while Ronaldo's fortune is approximately £500 million. While these figures seem unimaginable to most, when combined, they pale in comparison to the wealth of Faiq Bolkiah.

So, who is Faiq Bolkiah? He was a former player for Chelsea and Leicester City but never played for these teams. Despite this, his total assets amount to an astonishing £15.7 billion, 16 times more than the combined wealth of Ronaldo and Messi. The reason behind this is that he is the nephew of the Sultan of Brunei and one of the heirs to an incredible £200 billion fortune.

Faiq's wealth is astounding, and even his former teammate Ruben Sammut often jokes that he doesn't need to play football. However, Faiq states that he plays because he genuinely enjoys the sport. Sammut reveals some details about Faiq's training routine, emphasizing that his behavior doesn't give away his royal status. Faiq is described as a humble individual, diligently working hard every day, much like any youth academy player.

Indeed, there are always surprises in life, and prior to writing this piece, I had no knowledge of this information. Discovering it was quite astonishing.

This guy is really wealthy. I've never even heard of him. In fact, among professional players in the world, there is a family richer than this royal dude. Unfortunately, this family fell from grace in 2011, and I'm not sure if they still have as much money now. The player I'm talking about is Saadi Gaddafi, who once played for Perugia, Udinese, and Sampdoria in Serie A. Like the royal guy, he was a logistical player who rarely saw the field. However, both were true professional players.

Saadi Gaddafi, as the son of Libya's ruler from 1969 to 2011, had a family fortune that exceeded $200 billion when the Gaddafi family was overthrown in 2011. This fortune far surpassed the world's richest individuals at that time, not to mention the undisclosed assets. As the third son of Gaddafi, Saadi would have inherited much more than this royal nephew. Unfortunately, the Gaddafi family was wiped out by the Americans in 2011. Otherwise, the richest footballer in the world might have been Saadi Gaddafi.

However, what is truly admirable are those footballers who earn their wealth through their own abilities, such as Beckham, Messi, Ronaldo, and Mbappé. They have achieved both financial success and fame, and their wealth is earned cleanly and can be trusted.

This news is from before 2020, and it should be about the former Chelsea and former Leicester City U23 teams, which are the reserve teams. Later on, it seems he went to play football in Thailand, and there hasn't been much news since. It appears that his career in football may not have progressed as expected.

The man who is the most skilled in football among billionaires is also the wealthiest in the world of football. Checking his background, after his youth training in the English Premier League, he moved on to the Portuguese Primeira Liga but couldn't secure a spot. Now, he has joined the Thai league, and his performance is quite decent. It seems that his playing level is at the 2nd or 3rd tier in Asia, but his family background is truly enviable!

Having personal wealth and coming from a wealthy family are probably two different things. After all, as the saying goes, it's better to have one's own fortune than relying on one's parents'. Destiny should always be in one's own hands, as unforeseen circumstances might prevent inheriting the family wealth.

However, it cannot be denied that Cristiano Ronaldo is undeniably the greatest player in the world, without a doubt. We need Ronaldo's ability to rise from adversity and his strong will, especially in the current state of affairs where many people are not content with their lives. We truly need these qualities; otherwise, the number of suicide cases may continue to rise, and examples of overcoming adversity might become increasingly scarce in this world.
