Annual Growth in Experienced Cryptocurrency Developers Hits Historic High

According to a new developer report published by Electric Capital, the total number of monthly active cryptocurrency developers in 2023 has experienced a year-on-year decline of 25%. However, developers with long-term experience in the field have demonstrated greater resilience than before. Developers with more than two years of cryptocurrency experience have seen a yearly growth rate of 51% over the past five years, reaching an all-time high. Developers engaged in cryptocurrency work for at least one year have grown by 15% year-on-year, constituting 63% of all monthly active developers.
