Former chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board and player Ramiz Raja declared, "It's nearly impossible to beat India in India," following India's six-wicket victory over Australia in Delhi in February 2023. After winning the first two games of the four-match Test series, India went on to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.  In home Test cricket matches, India has proven to be a formidable opponent, making it very difficult for other teams to defeat them.  Even after winning Tests in the last ten or so years, teams like Australia and England haven't triumphed over India in a Test series since 2013. Since 2013, India has only lost three Test matches.
