News on January 8th: The Clippers lost to the Lakers 103-106 in the game. After the match, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue was interviewed.
Lue mentioned that Kawhi Leonard had limited playing time tonight, and with the Clippers playing their fifth game in eight days, there is also a back-to-back game tomorrow, which is why Leonard mostly sat on the sidelines in the final minutes of the game.
Lue stated, "It's my decision." He also pointed out that Leonard had played a significant amount of time starting from the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Lue revealed that he expects Kawhi Leonard to be available for tomorrow's game against the Suns.
In this game, Leonard played 35 minutes as a starter, making 6 out of 17 attempts, contributing 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. |
