Avalanche ecosystem decentralized lending protocol Yeti Finance has announced the closure of the protocol as the most responsible action at present, ensuring the maximum security of the remaining funds. As a token of appreciation to the community, approximately 90% of the funds in the current vault can be redeemed by YETI holders. The remaining funds will be used for necessary liquidation fees. Unless otherwise stated, redemption contracts can be accessed from now until February 10. Yeti Finance reminds users that the disclaimer and terms of service for the protocol have always indicated that users using the protocol and holding related tokens (such as YUSD) must bear their own risks. Users are requested to exit as soon as possible, as security cannot be guaranteed.
