In my team, there is a colleague with exceptional technical skills and outstanding talent. His performance in projects always stands out, earning admiration from everyone.

However, disagreements frequently arise among the team members during project progress. He prefers making decisions on his own, while team projects require collaboration from everyone. Additionally, his personality is not easy to work with, and he often provides various excuses to avoid completing the assigned tasks.

The company gradually recognized the personality issues with this colleague. Despite his remarkable talent and competence in many projects, his problematic personality made collaborations unpleasant and time-consuming. In the end, the company decided to let go of this colleague.

This experience made me reflect a lot. While having unique technical strengths, personality issues became a stumbling block in his career development. In teamwork, the importance of personality gradually becomes evident. From this experience, I learned that talent is important, but a good personality is equally crucial, if not more so, for success in the professional world.

In the workplace, talent and personality are a double-edged sword. Even with outstanding technical abilities, if one's personality doesn't align with the team, it may ultimately affect the development of a career. I hope that all of us can find a balance in the workplace, not only pursuing professional excellence but also focusing on cultivating our personalities, allowing us to integrate better into the team and collectively create success.

Character determines success or failure; this certainly makes sense.

Personal character is also very important; after all, it can have a significant impact in the eyes of others.
