The attacker of the multi-chain trading platform Thunder has sent a message on-chain, stating that Thunder's statement about the attack is all lies. The attacker claims to possess all user data and is demanding 50 ETH in exchange for deleting this data. As previously reported by BlockBeats, on-chain detective ZachXBT issued an alert suggesting that the multi-chain trading platform Thunder was likely under attack, and the attacker had transferred 86.5 ETH to the ZK privacy protocol Railgun. Thunder responded, stating that a third-party service it used appeared to have been attacked, affecting 114 out of over 14,000 addresses, with no leakage of user private key information. The official response halted the attack within 9 minutes, ensuring the safety of user funds, and compensation arrangements are being made for affected users. |
