Solana ecosystem protocol Analysoor conducted a thorough review of the minting event for its first community meme coin, WHEN, and issued an apology to the community. During this event, Analysoor faced several technical challenges: firstly, a malfunction in the Backpack feature caused the wallet receiving funds to stop working, leading to a 20-minute redeployment delay; secondly, RPC issues affected the sending of transactions on the website; furthermore, the Jupiter swap API stopped working during LP creation, Meteora experienced a failure, and the Swap function became unusable.
The Analysoor team also highlighted operational issues on their end: during the pre-launch quality check, discrepancies were found between Dune Analytics' checksum and backend results, requiring a rollback to an old version of the random number generator with the addition of a limit of 5 transactions. Additionally, the team acknowledged a prolonged verification process, insufficient trust in the code, and ongoing concerns about sending large amounts of funds to the wrong address. The token sending process was also overly slow, prompting the team to consider skipping confirmation steps or implementing a queuing system to improve efficiency.
Analysoor stated that despite encountering these challenges, the issues are not insurmountable. They apologized to users for the suboptimal experience on that day and pledged that such situations would not occur again. |
