"Binance founder CZ, after pleading guilty in the United States with a $175 million bail, has been ordered by the judge to stay in the United States until his sentencing on February 23, 2024. He is prohibited from returning to his residence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) until then.
CZ has not provided much commentary on the issue of not being able to return home. However, on the morning of today (9), in response to a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) expressing missing him on Twitter, he unexpectedly posted: ""Thank you all for your support. But I will try to take a break from Twitter.""
While CZ did not elaborate on why he is temporarily stepping away from Twitter, some speculate that he may simply want to take a break and distance himself from controversy. Others suspect it might be related to Bloomberg's latest report today, suggesting that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) plans to continue its lawsuit against Binance. The true reason is currently unknown.
This post quickly received warm responses from numerous netizens. Many expressed sentiments such as ""We will always love you,"" ""Thank you for everything you've done for us,"" and ""We stand with you."" Hopefully, we will soon see CZ active again." |
