The Layer1 public blockchain Waterfall Protocol is about to launch its eighth testnet.
According to official sources, on December 2, 2023, the Layer1 public blockchain Waterfall Protocol completed 2 million transactions within 5 hours on its seventh testnet, demonstrating the superior performance of a concurrent DAG-structured public blockchain. The latest test performance results indicate that the processing speed of the seventh testnet has reached 5,000 transactions per second (tps). The upcoming eighth testnet is expected to achieve an ultra-high processing performance of 10,000 tps. The official mainnet will be launched and made available for public use after the completion of testing on the eighth testnet. |
