According to Golden Finance, despite continuous efforts by the government of El Salvador to promote widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies domestically, data from Triple-A reveals that approximately 109,175 people in El Salvador own Bitcoin, out of a population of 6.36 million, accounting for about 1.72%. Additionally, El Salvador ranks 55th in the global cryptocurrency adoption index. However, some countries, including those enforcing bans on cryptocurrencies, are experiencing faster growth rates. Earlier reports stated that President Nayib Bukele announced a total Bitcoin investment of $131 million in the country.
