I believe the current Indian T20I team is worse than the 2018-19 one. However, I suspect this team has a slightly higher chance of winning a trophy because they might be luckier

In my opinion, the team in 2018 was the strongest T20I team we've ever had. I believe if there had been a T20 World Cup that year, we would have definitely won the championship.

In T20 matches, anything can happen. The team that appears strongest on paper rarely wins the World Cup in this format (as seen in England in 2021, for example). It's not just in T20s; I mean, we were once considered the strongest team on paper, but in the end, we still lost the ODI World Cup

That team indeed instilled a lot of confidence, to be honest. Dhawan and Rahul served as excellent backups for Rohit. Kohli performed exceptionally at his peak. However, there was Raina at number four. So... the number four position might still be a point of contention...
