A few organisations in Fort Smith, New West Territory first came up with the concept for a fully operational Makerspace that could accommodate an infinite amount of building and creative activities. Some aspirants to start a Makerspace started to gauge interest in February of last year. Thebacha Makerspace now hosts two workshops every week. Aurora College has lent the small room to the Thebacha Makerspace. They have power tools, sewing machines, t-shirt presses, wood-burning tools, laser engravers, and a tonne of other things in it.
