"Oh, who left the 24k gold giant cube, weighing 185 kilograms and valued at $11.7 million, in the park? Did I accidentally leave it there while sleepwalking? I guess not...
Alright, don't be fooled by my cute appearance; it wasn't me who left it there. The credit goes to German artist Niclas Castello, who created and placed this massive golden sculpture in Central Park, New York. The purpose behind it is to make observers contemplate the ""value of money."" This colossal golden piece is not for sale but intended for public viewing. In addition, an accompanying NFT named Castello Coin will be auctioned on February 21.
Now, when I see this dazzling 24k gold cube, I suddenly can't figure out what the ""value of money"" is. Have you thought about it? Or are you already planning to buy a plane ticket or contact a crane to bring this gold home? Although I've considered it, it's not that simple because there are strict security measures around this gold block. So, let's not think about it and just reflect on the ""value of money." |
