Modern people, for the most part, can't live without smartphones. The functions of a smartphone are incredibly convenient—you can watch videos, read news, view comics, read novels, listen to music, and more, all on one device. Alongside smartphones, various short videos have emerged, created to capture people's attention. Although I usually try not to indulge in watching short videos, I have to admit that the creators of these videos really know how to attract viewers.
Even though I've made a firm resolution not to spend too much time on my phone and to use the internet for self-improvement, I inevitably find myself drawn to those short videos. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but every time I need to do something productive, I can't resist the urge to scroll through my phone for a moment. Sometimes I'm aware that there's nothing interesting to see, but I still can't help but swipe through my phone a couple of times. It's possible that I've become addicted to my phone, and I feel uneasy if I don't use it.
Some people say that the phone is the ""DAMA"" (Digital Age Mind Addiction) of this era, and that statement is undeniably true. Without realizing it, you can spend an entire day scrolling through your phone—it's truly terrifying. |
