Who has a time machine I can borrow? I need to go back 20 years; I made a mistake buying stocks...
Seriously, if anyone has a time machine, I could really use it. It's heartbreaking to see. Twenty years ago, I bought stocks with 790,000, and now, after two decades, I not only haven't made any money but also lost an additional 20,000. Can you imagine how painful that is? And during these 20 years, the whole family has been living quite frugally—no meat, only the cheapest vegetables. We thought holding onto those stocks for 20 years would bring wealth, but it turned out we were just holding onto loneliness. It's really quite helpless.
So, you see, sometimes the choices we make are more important than the effort we put in. If you make the right choices, the effort will pay off; make the wrong choices, and even 20 years of hard work might be in vain. Speaking of which, if you had the chance to go back a few years, what would you do? Buy Tesla, invest in Bitcoin, or maybe memorize a set of numbers and go buy a lottery ticket? I might go for Bitcoin, sell it each time it surges before the crash and make a profit. Sounds like a plan, but who knows if it's just an unrealistic fantasy? |
