Yesterday, Binance announced that it would launch ORDI 1-50x U perpetual contracts. This news has attracted more community attention to the already exceptionally active Bitcoin ecosystem.
In the past week, after UniSat announced the launch of the brc20-swap mainnet, there has been a series of surges in the BRC-20 field, following the impressive price increases of Sats tokens. The Bitcoin ecosystem has become one of the most discussed topics in the community.
The bustling ""BRC-20 Zoo""
With the UniSat Wallet launching the brc20-swap mainnet on October 31, several BRC-20 tokens, named after various animals and deployed as early as March, have surged in the past week. These include cats, foxes, BEES, owls, fish, $PIG, birds, cocks, lions, etc. The prices of these ""animal coins"" have risen along with the active atmosphere in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Looking at the trading volumes from the past week, it can be observed that the trading volumes of cats, lions, and fish have exceeded those of the community-familiar BRC-20 token, ORDI. Rats, launched on October 31, stand out with a surge of over 389% in the past week. With a trading volume of 4904 transactions in a week, it is only second to Sats, while the weekly trading volume of ORDI is only 201 transactions.
Furthermore, the surge in Sats, serving as the UniSat BRC-20 Swap Gas fee, has been rapid, with an increase of over 900% in the past week, making it the highest in trading volume among BRC-20 tokens. |
