Poor people don't speak, which means that even if you are in a difficult situation, you shouldn't speak casually. If a person is unable to provide food and clothing for themselves in adversity, they should refrain from talking too much. Not speaking doesn't mean you are not entitled to speak, but rather it's about learning to listen. When you're poor, it's more about listening and feeling more, rather than bragging and talking. In times of poverty, in addition to listening more, you should also focus on learning. Whether you're attending social gatherings with friends or discussing collaborations with others, those who are witty and charming often achieve success. When a person is poor, it's best to watch what you say, as this will leave a good impression on others.
To achieve something, you first need to have your own abilities. Only after achieving success can you gain the confidence to say things that others will recognize. If you're an unknown person, what you say may be considered bragging, and it's difficult to impress others. The saying 'Poor people don't speak, those in lowly positions don't advise others' doesn't actually mean that poor people can't speak! Many people misunderstand this saying, as most individuals lack confidence, especially when they're poor. I believe that people who have experienced poverty are often particularly resilient and adaptable! Therefore, everyone must have self-confidence and work on building their own self-esteem. |
