April 18 is the 21st wedding anniversary of Kobe and Vanessa.
Kobe's departure left everyone deeply saddened. He was an idol for many, including myself. Thinking about Kobe's departure, I'm writing this post with a heavy heart.
What I want to say is, even though you've left us forever, you never left our hearts. It's not just your wife who misses you; as fans, we miss you just the same. We hope you're doing well up there!
When I was a kid, my favorite NBA player was Kobe. I even started playing basketball just for him. Kobe gave me a dream; he's the source of my dreams. His departure hit me really hard because everything happened so suddenly. At one point, because of his departure, I almost gave up on the idea of playing basketball.
It's been three years already, and time has passed so quickly. It feels like everything just began.
We will never forget the 24, Kobe, you are forever in my heart!!! |
