What does a happy life look like? Having a car? Owning a house? Or having power?
In reality, these are not the components of a happy life; they can be seen as aspects of a practical life.
A happy life should be carefree, free from illness and pain.
You might have a car, but with public transportation widely available, is it more valuable to you than refueling it?
You might have a house, but if you're in poor health and lack a loving family, would you be happy?
You might have power, but if everyone around you is driven by self-interest in maintaining friendships, is that what you want?
So, in my opinion, happiness is exactly what I described!
In life, there isn't happiness or unhappiness, only contentment or discontentment.
There's a saying: "Having enough to eat and wear is happiness, being free from illness and disaster is a blessing!" |
