This season, Manchester United's performance has been lackluster, with just 5 wins and 5 losses in 10 league matches. Fans are growing disappointed, and football pundits are discussing why the team's performance is so poor. The reason is quite simple: their six main forwards, led by Rashford, have managed only 1 goal and 1 assist collectively after ten rounds of the league.

Football is a sport that heavily relies on goal-scoring, and when your forwards are not finding the net, your team's results suffer. So far, Manchester United's six forwards have scored only one goal in the Premier League, and that solitary goal came from Rashford, who has had the most playing time. Therefore, the underperforming forwards bear a significant responsibility for Manchester United's poor performance.

Last season, Rashford was one of Manchester United's standout players, scoring a total of 17 goals. However, after a high-salary contract extension, Rashford has lost his way, becoming a target of criticism from the fans due to his significant drop in performance. Other forwards, considering their transfer fees, have also fallen short of expectations. Anthony arrived at Manchester United for €100 million, Sancho for €85 million, and Holland for £70 million, but none of them has produced goals or assists so far. Some might say they were overpriced.

Currently, Manchester United is heavily reliant on goals from midfielders and defenders to secure some victories. Their meager 11 league goals are on par with Erling Haaland's individual goal tally. If the forward issues are not resolved in the near future, Manchester United's prospects in the league look bleak, and even the manager, Ten Hag, faces the risk of being sacked.

That's how terrible Manchester United is. Last season, they relied on Rashford alone for goals, and if this season doesn't improve, the whole team is in trouble.

The gap between Manchester United and Manchester City is getting wider. I'm not exaggerating when I say that if Manchester United doesn't make any changes, they might even face relegation. You might not believe it, but it's a real possibility.

Right now, Manchester United is like stagnant water, from the ownership and management to the coaches and players – it's a collective underperformance. It would be strange if they could play well!

Ten Hag should step down quickly. He can still argue about Manchester United's problems now, but if he keeps delaying, no one will want him in the future.

Is it the coach's influence that has led to Manchester United's significant drop in performance?
