Deft: Thank you.
Q: Today should be a very happy day, this is your 100th game at the World Championship, and you chose Caitlyn, which was a victory for you, and you also won the game. How does it feel?
Deft: Actually, until last year, my birthday always had a negative feeling. But based on last year, I've had good luck, and I felt it was fun to play the game today. Today, I achieved my 100th game at the World Championship. I didn't think I could make it, as I thought last year would be the last year. I'm really happy to be back on the World Championship stage this year and achieve the record of 100 games.
Lastly, choosing Caitlyn... actually, Caitlyn wasn't banned in the last game, so we could have picked Caitlyn, but we didn't. Fortunately, we picked Caitlyn today, and it was a lot of fun to play the game.
Q: Actually, it wasn't easy for you to make it to the World Championship stage again. You had a tough time in LCK, and you secured the last ticket to the World Championship as the fourth seed. Now you have a 1-2 record in the Swiss round, and you said you want to improve and show a better performance. What aspect do you most want to focus on improving?
Deft: Since we had a long training time, we had various options for the draft. We did the draft according to what we thought was the right direction, but it was actually wrong. So we'll try to improve that aspect as much as possible. However, we had a lot of training, so the amount of practice isn't the issue. As long as we find the right direction, we can deliver a good performance again.
Q: This year you achieved a record of 100 games at the World Championship. Last year, you won the World Championship, and although you faced difficulties this year, you eventually returned to the World Championship stage. What are your thoughts on these achievements?
Deft: Actually, I think there are many players on our team who are better than me, so I don't have any special feelings about it. I just want to beat other players.
Q: The draw results have just been announced, and your opponents are GAM. How do you see them?
Deft: First of all, in the previous years when we played against Vietnamese teams, it felt like they didn't play well with the meta champions. We just had to be careful when they fought. This year, they are also good with the meta champions, so we must prepare well. |
