Baccarat has only one widely-recognized strategy, which is flat betting. I believe this is actually related to the stock market because flat betting is essentially a transformed version of trend trading. For example, when I go to Macau, I take HKD 100,000 with me for a round trip ticket that lasts three days. I usually play three rounds, and with HKD 100,000, I bet HKD 1,000 each time, which allows me to place 100 bets. Baccarat tables have screens displaying the game history, but in reality, that road map is not very useful. This is because, based on what I've learned from probability theory, the odds are always roughly 50-50 between Banker and Player in every hand. So, the key to flat betting is to increase your bets when you notice a trend of long Banker or Player wins and to lock in your profits when you can. With this strategy, you can increase your bets in a sequence, for example, HKD 1,000 / 2,000 / 4,000 / 8,000 / 16,000 / 32,000. I often go for 5 or 6 consecutive wins, starting with HKD 2,000 or 3,000. If the trend changes, I revert back to a HKD 1,000 bet. In the event of a long Player or Banker pattern, I follow the same strategy. Normally, I bet HKD 1,000 every hand, regardless of whether I win or lose. If I experience a loss over four or five hands, I stop betting or switch to another table. This approach is similar to maintaining trading discipline. Just as in the stock market, you should avoid fighting the trend. For instance, if you bet on Banker ten times and all wins, but then you decide to bet on Player, and it loses, so you double your bet, you might run into a long streak of Banker wins. This can lead to significant losses, similar to people who try to time the market by buying more stocks as prices drop, only to see them fall even further, resulting in heavy losses. |
