The so-called "cable" in baccarat refers to a series of bets, continuously placing bets on several consecutive rounds. The most common strategy is to start betting on the player after three consecutive banker wins. If the first round is lost, double the bet in the second round; if the second round is lost, continue to double the bet in the third round, and so on until a win is achieved.

Once, in a casino, a high roller who had already lost a lot of money sighed and asked, "How can I win?" Someone nearby immediately suggested, "Bet on the cable, and you'll win." The high roller immediately responded that if there were an unending cable, he would be willing to pay any price for it. He was right. There's no such thing as an unending cable, and it will eventually break. When it breaks, you'll have to incur significant losses. So, can betting on the cable really guarantee a win?

To succeed in betting on the cable in baccarat, you first need to understand the game's rules. Casinos generally set limits on the ratio of bets, typically 1:150. For example, the minimum bet might be $100, and the maximum could be $15,000, depending on the casino. In Asian casinos, many calculate the total bet sum, while in the United States and other places, each player's bet is calculated individually. The purpose is the same: to protect the casino's interests. Without limits, unlimited progressive doubling of bets will eventually favor the player, and the casino would lose money. So, the ratio usually falls between 1:100 and 1:200, balancing the risk for players.

You can see from the table that you can only bet up to the eighth round; the ninth round exceeds the betting limit. Therefore, you must win within the first eight rounds; otherwise, you'll experience a cable break. If a cable breaks, you need to play four consecutive rounds without a break to recover your losses.

Statistically and through computer analysis, to have a cable that won't break in the long run, at least ten rounds are needed, but ten rounds exceed the betting limit, making it unfeasible. Any cable system, regardless of the order of banker and player wins, has a chance of breaking within nine rounds. Beyond ten rounds, the chances decrease, and the longer the cable, the harder it is to break. This is all based on probability theory.

In other words, there's no cable in baccarat that will never break, meaning that there will always be a cable that breaks. It's difficult to find a cable that never breaks, but it's not a problem to find one that breaks frequently. Especially four or five consecutive wins are quite common, with almost every box of cards witnessing multiple breaks.

To win in baccarat, you need to do the opposite. Bet on the opposite outcome of what you see. If banker wins, bet on the player, and if the player wins, keep betting on the player. This strategy ensures that every time you lose, you only lose the initial bet amount. If you win on the player, you keep doubling the bet until you win five in a row, which results in a substantial profit. If you can win one cable in a box of cards, you won't lose money, and winning more cables will yield even greater profits.

Based on my own statistics, the most common cable to break in baccarat is the four-cable (four consecutive wins), happening about two to three times in every box of cards. The five-cable averages one to two times per box, and the six-cable occurs about once every two boxes. Seven-cables and higher rarely appear. Therefore, I believe that the five-cable is the most feasible option, as it's both common and profitable.

Betting in this manner requires patience and a belief that the phenomenon you're betting on will eventually occur. Don't be discouraged if you lose in the early rounds; once you hit a streak of five consecutive player wins, you'll recover your losses and then some. Additionally, sometimes you'll see a run of five consecutive player wins early in a box, making it a good opportunity to profit.

The challenge is that if you consistently bet on one side, banker or player, it may raise suspicion. Therefore, I suggest the following baccarat formula:

BPPBP (Banker, Player, Player, Banker, Player)

In this sequence, bet in order, starting with banker. If you win the first round with banker, bet on the player; if you win the second round with the player, bet on the third round with the player, and so on. After the fifth round, switch back to the banker. If all the bets win, start over. Don't worry; this sequence appears in nearly every box of cards.
