**Principle One:** There's a saying: The cautious sailor lasts for a thousand years. This is especially true in the game of poker. So, if you're not confident of winning, never follow someone's bluffs.

**Principle Two:** In uncertain situations, it's generally best not to bluff. This is crucial. Good hands don't come up very often, so your opportunities to exploit them are limited. When you're not certain you'll win, but you have a strong hand, bluffing after careful analysis and reading your opponents' habits and psychology is a highly skilled move.

**Principle Three:** Don't appear too weak in demeanor or too kind-hearted. Showing weakness makes it easy for others to steal pots, while being too kind-hearted can leave you vulnerable to sneaky plays.

**Principle Four:** When you're sure of your hand, it's generally a good time to steal the pot. In most cases, if you have a winning hand, you should bluff. Only in situations where others have weak hands, and they probably won't call, should you avoid bluffing to make some extra chips. If you bluff them all out, you won't gain much more.

**Principle Five:** Bluffing is an art. When you have a strong hand, it's often a good time to bluff. An exceptional move is to have a strong hand and, even though you could raise, allow someone else to do so, indicating they have a strong hand, and then re-raise them. This is the highest level of bluffing.

**Principle Six:** When you have a weak hand, it's often best to fold. Usually, continuing to play with a weak hand only results in a slight loss. So, in the absence of strong cards, don't let loyalty cloud your judgment.

**Principle Seven:** When you're on a losing streak, don't lose your cool. Sometimes you can lose ten or more hands in a row, even an entire evening. At times like these, it's better to walk away and take a break. If you keep playing recklessly after a losing streak, you might end up losing more. So, don't get too emotional, and don't play impulsively. It's best to rest and come back when you're feeling more balanced.

**Principle Eight:** When you encounter an exceptionally calm opponent, it might be a good idea to find a different table. Such players are tough to deal with. In a poker game, there are often impulsive opponents to play against.

**Principle Nine:** In a game with four players, it's best not to have the fewest chips. Being short-stacked from the beginning puts you at a disadvantage. At the same time, avoid playing against players with very few chips, as it's a waste of time and can impact your mindset.

**Principle Ten:** Never put all your chips on the table. This is the most important principle. You can keep some chips in your account and bring out only 5% or 20% to play. It's best not to go over 20%, as that puts you in a high-risk position. After losing all your chips recently, it's not a good idea to play again right away, as you're likely to be seeking redemption, which can lead to more losses. Always maintain a clear head and stay focused when playing poker. Never play while distracted. Concentration is key to making rational decisions.
