"The Macao Gaming Show (formerly known as the Macao Gaming Expo) will be held on November 14 and 15, marking its first in-person event in four years. This two-day exhibition, accompanied by a one-day summit with the theme ""Asia's Pioneers Return,"" will take place at the newly constructed Macao Galaxy International Convention Center.
The Macao Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA) is responsible for organizing the Macao Gaming Show, which will cover approximately 4,000 square meters and is expected to attract more than 5,000 industry professionals from domestic and international markets, along with 80 exhibitors.
The exhibition is not only making a return, but in 2023, it will also host the MGS Summit, bringing influential figures from the gaming industry in Macao and Asia together. This event was disrupted starting in November 2019 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and after conducting online-only events in 2021 and 2022, it is now returning to in-person activities in 2023.
The online and hybrid trade event formats that were influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic are set to expire in 2022 and 2023, allowing MGS Entertainment and other gaming trade conferences in Asia to return. According to the Macao Travel and Leisure Association, this year's event is aimed at exploring cutting-edge development strategies for Macao's technology, entertainment, and tourism industries to support the region's economic recovery and enhance its position as a global tourism and leisure hub." |
