For example, if the first strategy requires you to bet 2 on banker, the second strategy requires you to bet 1 on player, the third strategy requires 1 on banker, and the fourth strategy requires 1 on player, you'll need to calculate the total bets. In this case, you would bet 3 on banker and 2 on player after hedging.
Practice: Suppose there have been 11 consecutive rounds of banker wins, followed by 11 consecutive rounds of player wins, then 11 rounds of banker and player alternately. Calculate how much you can win in each case.
Answer: Betting on 11 consecutive rounds of banker wins results in a win of 34.2 (accounting for commission). Betting on 11 consecutive rounds of player wins results in a win of 36. Betting on 11 rounds of banker and player alternately results in a win of 74.9 (accounting for commission), and betting on 11 rounds of player and banker alternately results in a win of 63.7 (accounting for commission).
Like most betting strategies, the Changjiang code may also result in losses, but the potential losses are significantly lower than potential winnings, with a maximum loss of 24.55, which occurs with a probability of only 0.09%. |
