On October 3rd, Lakers forward LeBron James participated in media day interviews.
When asked why he decided to return for his 21st season, LeBron said, ""I think it's because this summer I got to be with my sons again, got to watch Bronny continue to grow his game, and I watched Bryce play AAU ball. Being around them, they always inspire me. And, if I'm being honest, it's also because of the work that Coach Ham and Rob (Pelinka) have done and the acquisitions we've made. I feel like we have a really good team. They did a great job in the offseason, re-signing some guys we had chemistry with and bringing in some young, hungry players with athleticism. I'm excited about it.""
