"On September 29th, the English Premier League powerhouse Manchester United officially announced that Brazilian forward Anthony Martial has been allowed to return to the team and resume normal training, following allegations of domestic violence. According to the BBC, Anthony Martial will not participate in Friday's training session and will also not be involved in Saturday's Premier League match.
Manchester United's official statement reads as follows:

Since the allegations were made in June of this year, Anthony has been cooperating with both the Brazilian and British authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
Manchester United football club, as Anthony's employer, has decided to allow him to return to Carrington for training and be selected for matches while this process continues.
We will continue to review the situation as it develops. As a club, we condemn any form of violence and abuse. We understand the importance of safeguarding all parties involved and recognize the impact of such allegations on victims.""" |
