According to a report from the Ambal Lottery Division in Myanmar on August 31st, in order to attract people to purchase Ambal lottery tickets, both paper and electronic Ambal lottery tickets will be sold and drawn separately. After the conclusion of the 55th Ambal lottery drawing ceremony, Ambal lottery tickets will have two separate drawings for paper and electronic tickets, starting from September 1st. The sales revenue from paper Ambal lottery tickets is expected to exceed 6 million tickets, with 7 million tickets as the prize fund to be distributed as a one-time bonus.
Similarly, electronic Ambal lottery tickets, with sales exceeding 2 million tickets and revenue exceeding 7 million tickets, will also contribute to the prize fund and be drawn separately. The 55th Ambal paper lottery tickets, each with a face value of 1000 Kyats, will be drawn on October 1st at 8:00 AM, while electronic Ambal lottery tickets will be drawn at 10:00 AM on the same day. It's worth noting that although the Ambal Lottery Division has stated that there will be two separate drawings, the specific prize amounts and quantities have not been disclosed.
Currently, there is limited interest in Ambal lottery tickets among the public. In an effort to attract people to purchase them again, authorities introduced electronic lottery tickets alongside paper ones starting from June 8th. However, despite the introduction of electronic tickets, there has not been a significant increase in lottery ticket sales. Compared to July, lottery ticket sales in August decreased by more than 15 million Burmese Kyats. |
