On September 22nd, Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan sat down for an interview with TA and discussed the issue of his limited three-point shooting.
DeRozan said, "I'm not saying I don't want to shoot three-pointers, but I also don't believe I need to take 10 shots every night. I still work to stay within my strengths, and if there's a three-point opportunity, I'll take it."
"Without a doubt, my three-point attempts will increase next season. I've always had this vision throughout my career, that as I get older, I want to continuously enrich my arsenal and expand my shooting range. So, this is a priority for me to focus on in the new season," DeRozan added.
It's worth noting that DeRozan averaged 23.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game last season, but he only attempted an average of 1.9 three-pointers per game. The Bulls, as a team, had the lowest average three-point attempts at 28.9 per game, making them the only team in the league that didn't reach an average of 30 attempts per game.
