On September 15th, English Premier League powerhouse Manchester United issued a latest statement regarding the situation of their forward, Sancho. The English forward, who had a conflict with Teng Haige, continues to stay away from first-team training until the disciplinary issues are fully resolved.
In the fourth round of the 2023-24 Premier League season, Manchester United suffered a 1-3 defeat to Arsenal as guests. After the match, Teng Haige was asked about Sancho not being included in the squad. The Dutch coach stated that it was due to his subpar training performance. However, shortly afterward, Sancho refuted this on social media, claiming that he had been training well and was treated unfairly, consistently being made a scapegoat. Nevertheless, Sancho has since deleted that tweet.
Manchester United's official announcement reads as follows:
Sancho will continue to train separately from the first team until the disciplinary issues are resolved. |
