In "Baccarat," apart from betting on whether the "Banker" or "Player" will win, there's also another possible outcome called a "Tie" or "Push." A ""Tie"" occurs when both the "Banker" and the ""Player"" end up with the same total points.
Ties are relatively common in a game of "Baccarat," and in a typical shoe of cards, you might encounter seven to eight ties or even more. Statistically, on average, there's approximately one tie in every ten hands of play. The casino sets the payout for a ""Tie"" at 8 to 1 odds.
Considering the payout odds for a "Tie," betting on it is generally not a profitable strategy. If you consistently bet on a "Tie," you're likely to lose money. However, regular casino-goers might notice that there seems to be some pattern or higher force at play when it comes to the occurrence of "Ties."
For an occasional gambler, experimenting with betting on "Ties" could be a way to test one's luck. Sometimes, if you're having a lucky streak and have a feeling that you should try a "Tie" bet, you can go ahead. However, if you view going to the casino as an investment, it's not advisable to focus on betting on "Ties." |
