Reuniting with old friends after many years is undoubtedly a heartwarming experience, no matter where it happens. While Lionel Messi may no longer be playing on the mainstream European stage, in the twilight of his career, he unexpectedly met with his former teammates in the United States. After Miami International signed Messi, they also acquired Barcelona's Sergio Busquets and former Barcelona defender Jordi Alba. These three players had previously been part of Barcelona's legendary squad and were now teammates again after many years, this time in the United States.

Messi's debut for Miami International was undoubtedly a success. He scored a goal in injury time, helping Miami International secure a long-awaited victory. Considering that Miami International was at the bottom of the league this season and struggling to secure a single win, Messi's game-winning performance would undoubtedly please the club's owners and raise expectations for him.

In addition to being Messi's debut, this game was also an opportunity for Messi to once again play alongside his former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets. Messi and Busquets had helped Barcelona win numerous championships and were both considered legendary players for the club. However, since Messi left Barcelona, they hadn't had the chance to play together. It's safe to say that many Barcelona fans would have smiled seeing these two legends back on the pitch together.

And it's not just Busquets; it's been reported that Miami International is planning to make Messi happy and comfortable by bringing in several of his former teammates. Jordi Alba has already been officially announced, and negotiations are reportedly underway with former Barcelona midfielder Andrés Iniesta and forward Luis Suárez. According to leaked reports, all negotiations are progressing smoothly because everyone is eager to play alongside Messi once again, so there shouldn't be any salary issues. It looks like we'll soon see many players who were once a generation's memories reunite on the field in the United States.
