On the evening of September 8th, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 struck Morocco, resulting in over 2,000 casualties and extensive damage to buildings, leaving many people homeless. Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has opened his upscale hotel in the old city of Marrakech, Morocco, which has 174 rooms, to provide shelter for the disaster victims. He has taken practical action to assist those affected by the disaster.
Not only Ronaldo, but fellow football star Hakimi also posted a message, saying, ""All of our compatriots are going through a difficult period, it's time to help each other and save more lives. My condolences to all those who have lost loved ones.""
