Lately, there's been quite a bit of positivity. So, why do we talk about contentment, not just in gambling but in life as well? Our desires can seem endless, and chasing these endless desires and material wealth may lead to inner dissatisfaction. However, once we learn to be content, that feeling of dissatisfaction disappears.

In gambling, the best practice for contentment is setting a daily target for winnings and mentally preparing for potential losses. Establishing a limit for losses at which you'll quit playing significantly improves efficiency and mood. In the world of gambling, things can change rapidly – one moment you're winning, the next you're losing. Although the reverse can happen just as quickly, people often hope for the latter, not realizing that the former is more likely to occur. So, when you're winning, you want to win more and end up losing. When you're losing, you want to break even and win, but end up losing even more.

Therefore, contentment is not only about knowing when to stop when winning but also about recognizing when to quit after significant losses. Accepting a manageable level of loss won't burden your psyche significantly. These lessons stem from painful experiences over the years. As you can see, I now play with small stakes because I've learned from my losses. These days, I approach it more casually, treating it as a regular hobby.
