Basic Rules of Blackjack:
Blackjack is typically played with 1-8 decks of cards. The dealer gives each player two cards face up and deals two cards to themselves, one face up and one face down. Cards with face value K, Q, J, and 10 are counted as 10 points. An Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11 points, depending on the player's choice. All other cards from 2 to 9 are counted at their face value.
If a player receives an Ace and a 10-point card as their first two cards, they have Blackjack. In this case, if the dealer does not have Blackjack, the player wins 1.5 times their bet (2:3).
Players without Blackjack can continue to draw cards to get as close to but not exceed 21 points. If they exceed 21 points, they bust and lose their bet.
If the dealer's total is equal to or less than 16, they must hit. If the dealer's total is equal to or greater than 17, they must stand.
Blackjack Terminology:
Hit: To draw another card.
Stand: To not draw any more cards.
Split: To place an additional bet equal to the original wager and split the first two cards into two separate hands. Both cards must have the same value (e.g., a pair of 8s, a pair of Kings, or a pair of Queens). After splitting, an Ace and a 10-point card can only count as 21, not Blackjack.
Double: After receiving the first two cards, the player can place an additional bet equal to the original wager (or double if desired) and receive only one more card. Doubling down is not allowed if the player has Blackjack.
Insurance: If the dealer's face-up card is an Ace, the player can buy insurance, which is an additional bet equal to half of the original wager. If the player believes the dealer's next card will be a 10-point card, they can buy insurance. If the dealer does have Blackjack, the player wins twice the insurance bet; if not, the player loses the insurance bet, and the game continues as usual. Blackjack takes precedence over other hands totaling 21 points.
Differences Between Online and Land-Based Casinos for Blackjack:
Online casinos offer bonuses, while land-based casinos do not.
Online casinos are not limited by time and space.
Online casinos offer both private and public tables, allowing for single-player or multi-player options, without being influenced by others. In contrast, land-based casinos generally only have public tables.
The minimum bet in online casinos is typically $1 (some casinos may offer bets as low as $0.1), while in land-based casinos, the minimum bet is usually $10 or more.
Best Methods for Deposits and Withdrawals from Casinos:
I personally use Neteller and Click2Pay for deposits and withdrawals, as they are fee-free and funds are deposited within 24 hours, making them convenient.
Credit cards can also be used. When withdrawing funds, you can opt for methods like checks, wire transfers, ACH, etc., which may take a few days longer than Neteller.
How to Take Advantage of Casino Bonuses:
First-time account holders at online casinos often receive promotions, such as a 100% match on their initial deposit.
Using a simple mathematical algorithm, if playing Blackjack, for example, and wagering $1 per hand for 1,000 hands, you may lose $10. However, with the casino's $100 bonus, you end up with $90 in profit, resulting in a 90% return.
This method theoretically works, but some precautions must be taken:
Choose reputable casinos; otherwise, even if you make money, you may not be able to withdraw it.
Utilize minimum bets whenever possible.
Withdraw funds as soon as you meet the casino's wagering requirements. The more you play, the more you risk losing.
Follow the strategy card for optimal play.
Change casinos and continue playing according to the strategy outlined above. I turned $300 into $2,000 in my first month using this strategy.
What to Consider Before Playing at a Casino:
Always read the casino's general terms and conditions.
Typically, only one account per household, IP address, address, and phone number is allowed at casinos. Violating this rule may lead to difficulties with withdrawals. Personally, I plan to play these good casinos again under my partner's name after moving.
Also, read the promotion terms and conditions.
Most casinos do not allow playing roulette, craps, sic bo, or baccarat until the wagering requirement is met. Even if you meet the requirement, it's safer not to play these games immediately. Wait until your next deposit if you really want to play them. Therefore, carefully read the terms and note how much the wagering requirement is and whether the bonus is cashable or non-cashable.
Read the withdrawal policy.
Understand the withdrawal time and procedures to be prepared. Some casinos may require you to provide documents like a driver's license, utility bill, and copies of both sides of your credit card. Personally, I have scanned and stored these documents. If the casino requires them, sending them via email suffices.
Comp Points:
Many casino software programs allow you to check your accumulated comp points, typically found in the cashier section. I usually note this value before playing, so I can compare it after finishing to see if I've met the wagering requirements. Additionally, comp points can be converted into chips, usually at a rate of 1 unit for every $1,000 wagered.
Consult Support Representatives:
Before cashing out, it's a good idea to consult support representatives to ensure compliance. Some casinos may cancel your winnings if you cash out before meeting the wagering requirement, considering you a bonus abuser. They may even return your initial deposit and close your account. |
