Gambling is all about making money, and the initial dream of gambling is to win big. If you can't win big, you'll keep struggling, but if you do win big, your gambling dream becomes a reality. I remember seeing someone on a forum a while ago who won over 2 million, cashed out successfully, and then announced their retirement from gambling. After that, they disappeared from the forum. Many people, including myself, admired them.

To chase this gambling dream, many people study day and night, battling with the casinos. However, desires are beautiful, but reality can be cruel. Some people who didn't dive too deep into gambling realized they couldn't compete and voluntarily quit, focusing on their regular jobs. Others got hooked on gambling and believed that they could still find opportunities to beat the casinos and make big money. Some played casually without deep involvement, enjoying the thrill of gambling but no longer holding grand dreams.

The first type of person is probably no longer present on the forum. If they quit gambling, there's no need to hang around the forum anymore. Since they didn't dive deep into it, their attachment to the forum is minimal. Occasionally, when they reminisce about their gambling experiences or the forum, they just smile and move on.

The second type of person is still active on the forum or simply a practical player. They have a strong passion for gambling and can't live without it. Gambling is their source of enjoyment. They relish the excitement, whether they win or lose, and the ultimate goal is making money, with winning big being the ultimate dream.

The third type, which includes myself, is also active on the forum. They combine forum activities with gambling. They recognize the high probability of losing in gambling and use forum promotions as a safer way to offset losses and increase income.

I belong to the third type. I once dreamed of getting rich through gambling. But after playing for several years, not only did I not make money, but I also lost quite a bit. I made a wish to win back the money I had lost, not aiming for speed but just hoping to recover my initial investment. I decided to give myself three years to achieve this wish. I set a daily goal to win a little. However, I couldn't sustain the wins for even a month, and I ended up losing everything, including my profits, to the casino. So, I made a new wish: to win a bit more. This time, I was more relaxed, without setting daily targets. Surprisingly, I succeeded, and I was genuinely happy then.

Thinking that I had achieved a small goal, I set my sights on a bigger one. I wanted to win even more. Unfortunately, pride got the best of me, and I lost it all again. I had to make another wish: to win something back.

Over the years, I've genuinely won and lost, but when I won, it was usually small amounts, and when I lost, it was often big. Overall, I ended up losing more than winning. Fortunately, even though I've experienced significant losses, they were within my financial limits. These losses included part of my living expenses, forum post rewards, and signature ad income. Being active on the forum helped offset a significant portion of my losses.

Today, I'm still active on the forum, continuing my gambling journey while combining it with my forum activities. However, I no longer dream of winning big. I've never won big before, and I don't know if I ever will. Nowadays, my goal is to win some small money to cover daily expenses. Ha-ha.

I fall somewhere between the second and third types. I've always been planning to win big, but the complexities of football betting are not to be underestimated. So, I keep moving forward, step by step. Of course, I also place accumulator bets, stringing together many matches, creating long dreams of winning.

Your gambling journey has been a rollercoaster ride, filled with drama, making it a captivating read. Despite generally ending up with more losses than wins, your ability to decisively stop and prevent a total financial disaster is quite commendable. This demonstrates that your interest in gambling hasn't taken precedence over your life, reflecting a very rational attitude.

Whether you win or lose, you should treat it as entertainment and leisure expenses. As long as it's not a big loss, it's acceptable. Let's all keep the forum lively and enjoyable!
