Jasprit Bumrah's rise in Indian cricket coincided with a strategic shift towards prioritizing fast bowling, led by Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri. Bumrah quickly became the face of this revolution, showcasing his exceptional talent across formats.

However, despite his success, there was a time when Bumrah, originally from Gujarat, contemplated relocating to Canada for better opportunities. This plan changed when he joined the Mumbai Indians, altering the trajectory of his career. He credits his family's support and the opportunities he received for his success in cricket.

I think at least Canada might have made him a captain, but perhaps if he had played for the Canadian team, he wouldn't be the same as he is now

If he went to Canada, he wouldn't have had the good facilities, coaching, and chances to play against top players like he did with BCCI. So, even with his talent, he still needed those things to become who he is now.
